Smoothies are a great way to get the nutrients you need not to mention they are also super yummy.
Most people use basic ingredients such as yogurt (plain or flavored), fresh or frozen fruit, and some greens.
Have you ever thought of adding tofu? Tofu is great for many reasons. One being that it soaks in any flavor you cook with it and secondly it is protein filled.
To start:
Take a 1/3 cup of non firm tofu.
Throw in a cup of fruit. I happen to have strawberries and grapes.
Add a handful of spinach or kale...
Some ice...
Sprinkle a little cinnamon...
Blend all together...
And there you have it! A tofu smoothie.
